Creating your first claim
Here is how to make your first claim. You automatically start off with 500 claim blocks.
Requirements:
A Golden Shovel (you get one for free from the starter kit)
Land claim checker (checks if you can claim land, also free)
Land is automatically unclaimed after 60 days of inactivity if you have claimed less than 5000 blocks
Step 1: Creating the claim
First, /rtp
to a location in which nobody has claimed land (the livemap allows for easy visualisation of this). Stand where you want to create the claim, right click your shovel in one corner and then go to the opposite corner and right click again (they must be diagonal to one another) After this, you should see a message in chat saying: Claim created!
Step 2: Trusting others in your claim
There a few ways that you can trust other people in your claim. You can either give them all trust, container trust, or access trust.
Overall Trust:
To completely trust someone in your claim, execute the command /trust <user>
, this will give them full permission in all your claims.
Container Trust:
To only give someone container trust (ability to open chests/barrels etc.), type /containertrust <user>
, this will allow them to open containers in all of your claims.
Access Trust:
To only give someone permission to use buttons and levers, type /accesstrust <user>
, this will allow them to use buttons and levers, to for example, access an area, in all of your claims
Step 3: Getting more claimblocks
Currently, the only ways to get more claimblocks on the server is by playing frequently. Every hour, 150 claim blocks will be given out to active members (it does not work if you are AFK), and this will allow you to claim more land. We are planning to implement other ways to get claim blocks in the future.
Step 4: Using Commands
Below, we have provided some useful commands:
/unclaim - abandons the claim you are currently standing in
/claimexplosions - toggles if explosions are allowed in your claim
/trust <player> - trusts a player in your claim
/untrust <player> - untrusts a player in your claim
/accesstrust <player> - gives players the ability to use buttons and levers in your claim
/containertrust <player> - trusts players to use containers in your claim
/trustlist - shows the people trusted in your claim (must be inside claim for it to work)
/untrust all - untrusts all people in your claim
/claimslist - lists all of your claims
/trapped - ports you out of a claim if you are trapped
